Golems (אמת)
2026 - Ongoing
Golems are beings without souls made of clay, dust, or mud, among other materials. Popularized by the folklore story of the Golem of Prague, it is brought to life by a Rabbi by writing the word אמת ("truth" in Hebrew) on its' forehead or belly. The Golem is given a job: in many cases, to protect its' creator. Once the Golem has completed its' mission, it can become aimless and "run amok" -- it is then returned to its' original material by erasing the first letter, א, leaving the word מת ("death").
These Golems are made of clay (porcelain or speckled stoneware) and are meant to protect you. Some are available for purchase.
